One of the things was the AIM* code. I am an employee, so my access is a
little different. For me it is under Support --> Foxboro --> Aim Temp
Authorization. Aim* Regenerator is there also, but I have to VPN into
our network to get to it. :(

    Thanks for the feedback about being able to do a full restore to 
same vintage hardware. We haven't tested that yet but that was our hope 
in buying two identical P91 2900's for this critical box.  We had an 
underpowered 2800 with a single hard drive that was one of a kind and we

were afraid that we would not be able to recover to another box in a 
timely fashion if it failed.  When you restore to the same vintage I 
assume you must take the Allied Telesys fiber NIC's out of the old box 
and put them in the new box to make it work without any further 
modifications.  Is that correct?
    You are absolutely right that the hostid, (ASCII string), cannot be 
found in any file on the hard drive.  We did a search of all files for 
the string which was something like "4460fbe1" and came up empty 
handed.  The AIM API Admin must interpret it from some other source for 
display in that application window based on DAY0 install information??
    Alex, we are interested to know if we, as users, can get to the "AIM

Temp Code" pick on the website.  Maybe that is what Ed Larsen was 
responding to in his garbled message earlier.
