I had a similar issue when purchasing BESR for some P91 / P92s that
didn't ship with it. I spent quite a while getting to the root of the
licensing issue with Softmart and Symantec and got a well defined
answer. The software for the workstation and the server is identical.
The only difference is the license. If you are using an OS that is
considered a server version, ie 2003 server, 2000 server you have to
purchase the more expensive server license. If it's a workstation OS
like XP, Vista you can purchase the inexpensive workstation license.
