Although the box didn't specifically state 2003, it does say "Server Edition."

Are you sure (and I know you probably are) that Symantec Backup Exec
version 8.5 you purchased for $69 handles 2003 Servers? I know at about
version 7.5 there was a $65 version for XP and a $800 version for 2003
Servers. Of course, these were Symantec prices, not Foxboro prices.
