Dave,
The duxuser list does have a moderator. If you experience further
difficulties with the rplies on this list I suggest that you address them
to the moderator. One point which you cannot know having only recently
joined this list, is that many times a question relating to a braille
embosser and it use often results in several alternative responses for
doing the same task. Translation software is only one part of the
production process.
Also, some problems which are attributed to the braille embosser have had
their solutions in DBT. Other problems atteibuted to DBT have had their
solutions in the braille embosser settings.
Keep all of this in mind before you judge the appropriatenesss of what
should and should not be posted on this list.
With your vast experience of braille embossers, I'm sure many users of
both Enabliing Technoligies and Index products will be more than hapy to
write to you privately with their questions specific to these machines.
Thank you for your sincere offer of help to these people and the
additional benefit of freeing the list of their questions.
Catherine
