Hello Everyone: Yesterday, I posted a message to the list, which you should have all received by now, stating my comments regarding questions that are posted to the list that are not strictly to do with answering problems that users' to this list experience in the use of DBT. Since then, I have received responses to my E-mail which were sent directly to me at my personal E-mail address. In my opinion, this is not on! These responses to my comments on the abovementioned questions and my comments about the basic knowledge that someone must have if they are to become a certified transcriber/proofreader, should not have been sent to me directly. If a user list such as this is to work in a meaningful way and if it is to be fair to everybody that subscribes to it then, address all responses to any E-mails that are posted on this list in the appropriate manner. That is, by sending a reply E-mail to the Dux User List E-mail address. That way everyone on the list can read all of the comments and suggestions that are sent in reply to the original E-mail. Also, it gives everyone on the list who has additional information a chance to add their own comments and suggestions to help solve a particular problem. Sincerely: Dave Durber * * * * This message is via list duxuser at freelists.org. * To unsubscribe, send a blank message with * unsubscribe * as the subject to <duxuser-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>.
