Hi Don: I know that was true in versions of DBT up to and including 10.4. However, apparently, this is not the case in 10.5 because 10.5 is supposed to have a more direct interface with an embosser so that you should only have to change the settings for your embosser in one place and not two. I think I have got the right handle on things. If I haven't I dare say I will be corrected for attempting to put my brain in gear and thinking I got it right! Grin, Grin, Grin.! Ah! shucks!
