Jack,
Dimension and target embosser information are stored currently in:
templates, and
documents, and
user preferences (registry).
The proposal is to leave these things out (or perhaps only the target
embosser out) of templates only. The storage in documents and user
preferences would remain.

I think they should! Where else would they be stored? Does this mean that
dbt would need to access another file with local embosser settings.
