One area of contention is, should copy, copy everything including the time stamp. Clearly the copy is made at a later time than the original. Speaking as someone who has written file systems, I know there is room to make errors in the Acorn protocol - in particular it is possible to set file attributes whilst a file is open, and the file system can then err by overwriting these values when the file is closed.
Perhaps there should be an option for SD to set the file attributes after the copy 8-)
