I think this is what is happening to my files. I've now sorted all the
Ovation Pro ones to appear only on the black plate, however all imported
images from other programmes (namely Artworks and Photodesk) Show the black
on all four plates. 

Can you just explain what you have done to correct this?

Also, I am finding that in the images, for example my contents page, the
text is not overprinting. The image is created in Artworks, and then
imported to Ovation Pro, but there is a knock out on the background colour
where the text should be. How do I make Artworks overprint text on a
background colour, and then how to do I make this appear in Ovation Pro, so
that when I print to EPS, the black text appears on one plate and the
remaining plates are just solid colour, with no white bits?

Does that even make sense; a medal to anyone who understands!
