Why not?The problem is linked text frames, where text stories flow from other pages. But there is no limit like "no more than 5 text frames" or "you can't copy a mixture of text frames and pictures".
Typically there will be a main frame, even if you don't use it, and that main frame is autolinked and messes up the copy.
