I like this concept! But then, I'm a sucker for anything involving DNA. :)

Bonus feature: we can tell everyone they've got our logo in their cells
already, it's too late not to be a member..

As far as colours, red and black are associated with the UCC rugby team,
but moreso with Anarchism. And while I have little objection to (nor
particular enthusiasm for) Anarchism, it might be misconstrued as a
political affinity by some. Also, black is a little foreboding, moody or
mysterious. White or a pastel colour background, with vibrant foreground
colours?

Thoughts on whether to twist the DNA or keep it "flat"? I like twists
myself, but I'm biased, yunno.

Also, Áine you've reminded me that this isn't just a Cork thing, but is
probably better considered a "South of Ireland" thing, so I'm not too
firmly stuck to the Cork colours, I'm just a locaphile. If it would get
in the way of a good colour scheme, we'll ditch it!
