I've read most all of King's books. While I'm not easily spooked, the only
2 of King's books that actually gave me the chills were *IT* and The Dark
Half.
Coincidently, my wife also got freaked out by the miniseries of IT. She
flat out refuses to read the book and gets the creeps just thinking too much
about it. I guess the concept of something coming out of drains and
attacking doesn't sit well with her. *grin*
Making cameo appearances in movies based on his books is something that
Stephen King more or less insists on doing. I forgot which, but in one of
them, he was the pizza delivery man.
