It really isn't horror, in the sense that his others seem to be -- not scary. I don't like that kind of book either. I did like reading Cujo, though. I think I saw the movie, too, and it was a long time ago that I read the book but the book was better than the movie, as I recall, in that Cujo wasn't just a mad vicious monster but a nice animal that had been bitten by rabid bats and so had gone crazy.
