She isn't a halloween witch, more like you'd read about in Andre Norton or 
Mersades Lackey.  (I just killed the spelling on that.)  If you feel that all 
things magic are bad, then you won't want to come near these, but you won't get 
naked people dancing under the stones in the moonlight or human sacrafices, or 
anything like that.  There is plenty of the usual sort of sex, and quite a bit 
of violence, and don't forget that one of the good guys is a vampire.  These 
things might bother you more than the witch. If they don't, you'll have a fun 
read.
