Ii do have one of his CDs, Portrait of Wynton Marsalis, which has various
concerti, the Pachelbel Canon for 3 trumpets and strings, Flight of the
Bumblebee. I also have a cd Virtuoso Trumper; what is there about Flight of the
Bumblebee? that's on both cds. What I haven't been able to find is a Cd of Al
Hirt with the Boston Pops. He plays the trumpet with the Pops on Trumpeter's
Lullaby and with Robert Mogilnicki and Andre Come on Buglers' Holiday on the
Leroy Anderson CD we have. I thought we had an LP of Hirt and the Pops, but
maybe I'm misremembering.
