I don't want to dis the NLS system. I certainly had my share of frustrations, and bookshare has opened up a whole new world. I can always get a book when I want. There's no waiting for the library to send what I have requested and there are books here the library never thought of doing, but let's give credit. For decades it was my only source, and gave me hours and hours, probably too many, of good listening. I usually get things I request, but then I believe in overflowing the cart; so they have lots to choose from. I think some libraries are better about filling requests than others, but with bookshare, we don't need to worry. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Julie & Miss Mercy" <mercy421@xxxxxxxxx> To: <bookshare-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, November 17, 2006 7:32 PM Subject: [bookshare-discuss] More books than I know what to do with! > I think the subject pretty well sums it up.
