Yes, and when I think of all the albums and CD's I used to buy just for one
song, it makes me sick. I sure won't do it now.

Hi Julie. Well that's what I thought! As far as "stealing music is
concerned?" Around 1947/48, my folks got a wire recorder. This was quite a
novelty for us, because we would record our voices, but we also recorded
music off the radio. Sometimes my dad would record music from some the
radio shows that were on then, and also, we recorded some prerecorded music;
so it would be plausible that he was stealing music? Then in the late 50s,
I got a tape recorder. I recorded music off the radio, and also we found a
way to record music off of television, so around 1960, I recorded songs from
American Bandstand. Stealing? In the 70s, I recorded off the radio onto my
cassette player. Stealing? Now in the 50s, I got 45 rpm records, which I
paid for most of these, and in the 90s, I bought CD's with my hard earned
money. I was going to hold out for CD's I could record on, but got the bug
to buy them. Pardon my rant, but I hope you get the picture!
