I submitted Serving Crazy with Curry by Amulya Malladi.
when Devi slits her wrists, her Indian family rallies around her to try to
"heal" her. Devi will not speak, but she cooks, although she has never cooked
before. Her family must confront their various problems, while eating the
fabulous food the mute Devi cooks.
