Gary, you are not the type of person I was referring to. I have seen you ask for feedback often, and it's clear that you take some considerable care with your work. I know for sure that if I wrote to you to ask for a missing page for a book you've scanned, I would be treated politely, and you would help me get the book into shape if you still had your print copy. All of us get some scannos when we process books, and that's not a big deal to work out. I don't mind working around scannos and mistakes, especially when someone is new to scanning or is having a rough time with the print in a book. I always try to contact a submitter to work things out before resorting to rejecting a book. 95 percent of the people I've met through Bookshare are nice people who care about their work. These people are a joy to work with. The five percent of people in this equation just make a big mess. I wanted people to understand why a particular group of books causes so much frustration for people like me.

I would only ask that if a book shows some types of problems, let the scanner know. Especially if it's me. I want to know if I'm missing something and if I overlook it, I won't know if I'm not told.
Just my $.02.
Thanks.
