Jamie, You are truly devoted. I'm not sure whether I'd have thrown the book or the scanner, or both into the trash! 600 pages at 3 minutes a page? That, my dear, is devotion! Thank you!!! In the past I have also used versions 14 and 15. I've also used a variety of scanners, including a very old Memorex USB (no electricity) scanner which took a full 3 minutes to scan a page and return the light bar back to the beginning; a much nicer HP all in one scanner/printer/fax (ok it was MUCH NICER than the Memorex! faster too!) and a Lexmark all in one that I didn't like as well as the HP but got the job done. Now I have the OpticBook and it's wonderful. BTW, I scanned the I don't know, 600 page or so Lord Krishna's vegetarian cookbook on that old Memorex. You can imagine how long it took! I think I watched an entire season of the Sopranos while scanning that book. -- Jamie in Michigan Currently Reading: Mallory's Oracle by Carol O'Connell See everything I've read this year at: www.michiganrxtech.com/books.html
