Hi Charlene and everyone!
Yes, it seems like the books they are choosing in the Top 100 Cookbooks of
the Last 25 Years categories for November and December, anyway are mostly
real tomes. I don't know if I'd have the patience to scan and fix up the
scan of a 600 or 700 page cookbook.
I didn't find any of these books on Bookshare that are the December picks
either. Here's that list in the category of baking.

Charlene, since you didn't have time to find the list of the General
cooking books that were selected for November, I'll find those again too.
1. Martha Stewart?s Cooking School: Lessons and Recipes for the Home Cook
2. The Essential New York Times Cookbook: Classic Recipes for a New Century
3. Real Cooking
4. Gourmet Today
5. Cook with Jamie: My Guide to Making You a Better Cook
6. Radically Simple: Brilliant Flavors with Breathtaking Ease
7. The New Best Recipe
8. How to Cook Everything: 2,000 Simple Recipes for Great Food
9. Ad Hoc at Home
So, there are the titles for December and then backtracking to
November. Sorry I didn't think to include authors. I was just interested
in titles so I could search for them on Bookshare.
I think these books are expensive and many of them are huge tomes of 400 or
more pages up to over 1,000 pages, though some are in the 200- or 300-page
range..
I can keep looking as each month roles around if anyone likes. It's
interesting to see what each months picks are in each category.

Someone mentioned the whole grain baking book from King Arthur recently,
and that's one of those big books that would really be nice to get from
the publisher because due to their size, they're not easy to scan and talk
about time-consuming! (smile!) I have the 200th anniversary King Arthur
baking book and it's in pretty good shape to submit for proofreading but a
friend is going to type up one page that was a picture of an old
hand-written recipe. That book was a big three-ring binder so it wasn't
hard to work with and it scanned pretty good, too. I just need to work on
cleaning it up some more.

Me too, Debby. I have. Tot be in the right mood with a big chunk of time
to spare to work on cookbooks. Rewarding when it's done but tedious while
you're doing it.

I'm busy baking for Thanksgiving, so haven't had a chance to check which
