Depends on what kind of purple you had in mind.
If it's too dark it'll probably 'conflict' (or however they say that in
english) with the gray from the background so that it's actually less
visible..

Maybe it should be just white.. or else the (light) purple.
(white or almost white (light gray) is better for visibility imo)
