I was in a group of people who had to wait for a train to move to gain access to this site. It was well after sunset when it finally moved. As I recall I met Pierre at the old Buckeye hills site in 1985. He always was happy to adjust your collimation and he did so after I bought my 13.1 " Colter light bucket. He was also happy to share a view through his telescope. As I remember Pierre would drive to any dark site and I followed him to some of the best ones. So I think that Pierre would be happy with the Antenna site or wherever we decide to hold a star party to honor his memory. It is the "folks and scopes" that make it special.
