[AZ-Observing] Re: Omega Centauri

We saw it last night at 1:30 am from the Messier Marathon. Unfortunately
there were vehicles parked south of my telescope, but I could even catch it
with binoculars. Nice in binoculars, but would have been better in a scope.
It culminated at 1:30 am last night.

Stan, no doubt Omega Centauri can be seen from your observatory. In fact it
can be seen from many places north of Phoenix, even from the 5MM site. But
best place is south of the city and away from Tucson lights. That's why my
view from near MMT site is still the best.

AJ,
I can also see OC from my place in Dewey. However, it has been a number
of years and maybe in the meantime the increased light pollution from
_your_ :-) Phoenix has blotted it out.
