I never use abbreviations because I don't like the method. Also, my
device requires a change in the data entry mode to use a digit. It's
less hassle to spell out each word.

I like my motorway toll company for texting when my credit threshold is
breached. I go online and add funds and don't worry about travel sans
credit.

I started using SMS when I lived in Japan, and had long train rides with

much to do. I used the time on the train to write SMS messages, took me=20
about 20 min to write a few words if I wanted not to have mistakes....I=20
never used this in Australia, even though I won 50 free messages. I also

But I guess I am old fashioned.
