No you don't need to know the award.  If your claim has gone into DEWR
there should be an insolvency practitioner involved (if the company is
actually insolvent). Let them, or DEWR, work it out. Odds are you are
not even under an award in our industry.  All you have to do is prove
what you were getting paid.  Please DO call the hotline - 1300 135 040.
If they don't put your mind at rest let me know.

Thank you Janet for posting the message for me and thank you all for
your replies. I can make a claim from GEERS but need to know what award
I am working under. The closest that we can find is the clerical and
administrative award. Does anybody know of any other award that might
fit technical writing and mathematics education (Not in a school or
Tafe)
