Hi Sean, I'm assuming that you've imported the small voice track, and this is now the third track in the project. So what you want to do is time shift the first two tracks, so that the audio in them starts at the end of the audio in the third track. To do this: 1. set the first two tracks to unselected, and the third track to be selected. 2. press the letter k, which moves the cursor to the end of the audio in the selected tracks, which in this case is the end of the third track. (in passing, the letter j moves the cursor to the start of the audio in the selected tracks). 3. deselect the third track, and select the first two tracks. 4. Apply the align with cursor command, which moves the selected tracks so that the audio in those tracks starts at the cursor position. David. ________________________________ From: Sean Paul <newsandtraffic@xxxxxxx> To: audacity4blind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, 12 December 2011, 23:07 Subject: [audacity4blind] Re: Help using audacity David: Thanks so much for that. We got that finished & working great. Now one more question. For now at least. I'm wanting to put a very small voice track ahead of where the music starts. Best way to make this happen? Got it recorded & it's like 7 seconds long. Then I want the music to start upon the smalltrack ending. I've tried several different things. Like setting a cursor & trying to aline with no luck. It's over the first part of the music. &, I'm wanting the music to start right after it ends. Thanks again for all of your help. ----- Original Message ----- >From: David Bailes >To: audacity4blind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >Sent: Monday, December 12, 2011 16:29 >Subject: [audacity4blind] Re: Help using audacity > > >Hi Sean, >just a few points: >1.
