I have had to revert to OS8 again.
After I have upgraded(downgrade) to OS10a and obviously restarted I am
unable to print to postscript printer driver and PrintPDF from Ovation

After click print in OPro it bring up the norm,al print box and then
on clicking that the machine freezes and you see an error message of
error in middle of screen overlaying the background (you can't
actually see the error box). On doing an ALT-BREAK, it changes to

OK, so forget PDFs for the moment. You have an issue with generating PS data
via the printing system. Which means that you need to give us more
information...
First, what version of PS driver are you using? Is it the Level 2 or Level 3
one?
Second, as Jim suggests, ensuring that your disc image is fully in step with
the ROM image would be a good move.
Finally, there's a hint that you can see the error message. If so, what is
it, exactly?
And what is the precise error from the Window Manager?
Anyone ideas on hwo I can upgrade to 10a at least and be able to print
to PDF.
Can anyone convert "OS8" and "OS10a" into RISC OS version numbers that a
software developer might be able to make sense of? Is there a handy
guide to this anywhere?

Could be tricky to reproduce on a non-ARMX6 system, then, as I presume that
these are specific builds that R-Comp have done for that system?
