Followup post - I hope to issue a new "SP" for our machines this week.
This will (naturally) include updates to all the supplied software, and
resolve any (known) compatibility issues.
This would, for example, have helped Chris with his issue, as our official
update will ensure compatibility.
If you run !SpecialFX, though, that isn't included in the disc build as I
was never happy that it wouldn't cause side effects. I strongly recommend
that anyone with !SpecialFX installed (probably in !Boot.Resources)
disable its "print fix" capability, as it doesn't seem necessary. Why
would you be running SpecialFX at all? Well, apparently it makes RiscOSM
maps look prettier/smoother :) The program replaces calls to Acorn's
Draw module, with calls to Computer Concepts Gdraw module, which does
anti-aliasing.
