For starters, you don't want -qu. The only reason it exists is for development,
and to demonstrate that there's no practical reason for it to exist. Even then,
it could only even hypothetically make a difference with a device of
questionable linearity and an insane number of sample patches, far more than
any camera chart I've ever even heard of anybody contemplating making.
With a camera, -qm (the default) is really all you need unless you can identify
for a fact that -qh really does produce better results.
Also...you don't want -aX. That's only for displays. You want -as, unless
you're in the extremely unlikely position of having a custom-built chart with
both a large patch count and a wide selection of pigments -- in which case you
want the default (-al).
It's also unlikely you want -Zr.
So, give it a try again, but just with -v -as.
