So I compiled it on my Mac Mini.

$ uname -a
Darwin mac.rkkda.org 9.6.0 Darwin Kernel Version 9.6.0: Mon Nov 24
17:37:00 PST 2008; root:xnu-1228.9.59~1/RELEASE_I386 i386

$ ~/Argyll_V1.0.4_Beta/bin/chartread test
chartread: Error - Configuring USB port 'usb:/bus253/dev0 (X-Rite
ColorMunki)' to 1 failed with -9
(usb_set_configuration(SetConfiguration): device not opened for
exclusive access)

No dice there, either. But I did run a printer profile using xrite's
software on the Mac. There was a magenta hue to the CUPS grayscale
printout after I got done! Argyll I need you!!!!!
