Hi,

this is my first post to this list :)

I am happy to act as a beta tester, am happy to run any tests that you would
like.
I hope one day that my laptop, external monitor and printer output won't be as
different as night, day and dusk.

I have a Spyder3 and am running Debian GNU/Linux Lenny (the current stable
version)

plugging the Spyder 3 in I see in the logs (tail /var/log/messages),
Mar 5 06:09:48 bloodberry kernel: [21064.744253] usb 1-1: new full speed USB
device using uhci_hcd and address 5
Mar 5 06:09:49 bloodberry kernel: [21064.913784] usb 1-1: configuration #1
chosen from 1 choice
Mar 5 06:09:49 bloodberry kernel: [21064.923865] usb 1-1: New USB device
found, idVendor=085c, idProduct=0300
Mar 5 06:09:49 bloodberry kernel: [21064.923879] usb 1-1: New USB device
strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
Mar 5 06:09:49 bloodberry kernel: [21064.923885] usb 1-1: Product: Datacolor
Spyder3
Mar 5 06:09:49 bloodberry kernel: [21064.923893] usb 1-1: Manufacturer:
ColorVision Inc.

the code compiles without any warnings, I ran
./makeall.sh
./makeinstall.sh

however,
./makepackagebin.sh
gave an error at the end
ran without errors until:
Making GNU Argyll binary distribution for Version 1.0.4_Beta
zip warning: missing end signature--probably not a zip file (did you
zip warning: remember to use binary mode when you transferred it?)
zip error: Zip file structure invalid (Argyll_V1.0.4_Beta)
Done GNU Argyll binary distribution

I need some guidance on commands that I should run for testing.

best rgds
Kie
