Keavy nodded in understanding. She had actually read some of the Gear
Duelling trade publications that featured the type of articles that Shamus
was talking about. "So this is your big comeback? Fastlane Rodriguez
making a triumphant return to the Gear Circuit. If I can give you a
hand...y'know jog your memory or something then please let me know. I saw a
little bit of the old Fastlane during our mock time trials the other day.
It wasn't too difficult to see, a little on the stiff side but something was
definitely there. I've studied your moves from years back and if there was
anyone on Terra Nova who could be considered an authority Fastlanes gear
style it's me. I even came up with a Macromove called the Fastlane Smash
inspired by your..."
Keavy fell silent as she realized that she was going off on a fangirl
tangent...again. "Sorry about that." she said with a nervous laugh. "I
guess I'm a little too enthusiastic about Gear Duelling." Why did she
always tend to act like a starstruck fangirl around Shamus? If she didn't
lose this Shamus was not going to think of her as anything but a fangirl and
not as a serious duellist. Terry must be laughing his head off right now.
"Hey why don't you ask me something? You have to be curious about the your
team mates."
