I found that my primary mailbox was set to security "None" and port
995, and I couldn't persuade AS to retain any other setting. The
mailbox stopped working, not getting past "Connecting". I manually
edited the settings file and found that all mailboxes had security
set to 0. I changed some to 1, whereupon AS was able to open the
mailboxes again.
I'm not clear what clicking the "Module?" button does - it seems to
do nothing right now. What should it do, with or without the right
module loaded - and should it work the same way with the new AcornSSL
module?
I guess that the !Run file should have some lines to load the right
SSL module if it's present.
All in the spirit of ironing out the little wrinkles so that it's
easy for everyone.
