We used to get NES as major supplier, until their new computer
screwed up order after order-and freight charges were absolutely
unforgivable...we had to get refunds totalling hundreds of dollars on
overcharges for freight-got a delivery one day of 14 cases-some with
only 3-4 pieces in it-and COD on every box, plus freight....and we
repacked it into 5 boxes and took pictures! They blamed it on
'computer directed packing technique'. Then NES and Alpha both
dropped our case pricing-said we had to 'increase' our business 10%
or more every year to keep it!
Hooray for Sanmar...no minimums, no 'mandatory increases', no
COD's...free freight...great service. Because of it, we have an
increase in business-because we KNOW we can take an order and get the
goods in 2-3 days.
