The WACF has the 'bill holder' clamp, if you are still getting the
mark then the clamp 'bar' is at the wrong angle. The CCF doesn't have
it, but Jeff got me the part number to order and we are getting it
for our 3 CCF frames.
Brian (the tech) showed me why our hats were sewing out so poorly-
getting the 'bowtie' look in the middle-as the cap bill rubbed the
back of the head, it was pulling the hat fabric back with it on an
'arc' as it went side to side.
Check the angle, and set it so the hat bill cannot rub that metal,
maybe you are trying to get too close to the brim with the design
also! Move away from that, the bill moves away from the metal.
