Herb, I don't mean to sound like a real moron here, but when you say "if it is loose, I take some away", do you mean you lower the MT. I assume that's what you mean, but I always get myself into trouble when I do that. THanks for so much help and information you have provided. I have only had my machine one month and have learned a LOT from reading all the mail. I didn't realize that you could test the bobbin tension until someone wrote about the drop test. I did it and couldn't believe that it fell QUICKLY to the floor. So, I tightened the bobbin up a bit. I also couldn't believe it was sent to me like that. But, thanks again for everything!!!!!! Sometimes I get the MT off a bit and create my own issues. When I start to sew I will look at the underlay as it begins, there are good clues there. If it is sinking in or looks tight I will give it a bit more. If it is loose looking I take some away. So much to learn. Today is Friday and it seams like it is the day when the gremlins come out. Hope they go elsewhere.

Thank you Herb - that's just the info I was looking for. Sometimes things
go relative well other times not so good like last night. Spent nearly 2
hours getting a 21,000 stitch name (2" tall) to sew on fleece. Have done
this enough times to think I know what I'm suppose to be doing but
constantly was getting fraying thread breaks. MT, bobbin, roller, new needle
changes etc did not seem to matter! It is a balancing act and I fell .....
