What Rakesh is talking about is a bio identification device. Microsoft has a
mouse that identifies your thumb impression at the time of loging. This way
one doesn't have to remember usernames and passwords. Intelligence agencies
and security networks have such bio locks installed at entry points to bar
unauthorised access to sensitive buildings or rooms. Future ATM machines can
also have such bio identification systems installed in them. But I don't see
how it will help us operate an ATM or sign a cheque.
