Look for the white tape, not the red, unless you are deaf blind of course,
then you want to use red and white bands of tape.  Hth.

And as for washing your stick, use a damp cloth.  Hth.

Hope it's ok to aks here, couldn't find the info on the RNIB website, but I
seem to recall that the RNIB sold a special white tape for recovering long
canes, is this correct? Do they still do so?

My cane gets a good work out, and sadly looses it's whiteness, so in
addition to recovering it, anybody got tips/suggestions for cleaning it when
it starts to get grubby?
