 From what i have seen so far, avg free edition only scans the local 
drives on each machine and not mapped network drives. Chris and I 
actually don't have file sharing enabled so this is not anything I 
have seen firsthand and I'd always think it a good idea to have a 
virus scanner instlaled on each computer anyway.
