Hi Sam,
This is the best advice I can give as a former anVAT officer.
There is no Exemptions, but Apple are either confused or trying to push the boundaries, touched with a bit of kindest.
Ask your local Apple if Apple offer this if they say yes, take it.
They may give it, but trust me when I tell you the renenue have not granted this, and it falls outside the rules.
Good Luck I hope you get it.
Niamh
PS computers I do not understand VAT I do.

Subject: [access-uk] VAT Exemptions Apple Products

Hi
There has been a bit of discussion in the past about people getting VAT exempt on apple products. I am looking to upgrade my iPhone and was wondering what the process is for getting this exemption. If indeed I am able to get VAT exemption.
Thanks
Sam
