Hi Jacki, I have music, radio and system sounds coming out my computer speakers, but I have jaws coming from a dedicated SB audigy external sound card. You have to reconfigure the jaws ini file to do this, but its nice to be able to turn down the music and not bother the level of jaws. I've got a couple to check out, and if I get anything out of one of them, I'll post with any comments. I like listening to stations abroad sometimes, and sometimes like to have the music on in the background while I am using the PC, rather than have to juggle with music and JAWS at the same time. But I've a rotten feeling that if we wait for something completely accessible to come along from these so-called trials, we'll be on the next two or three generations of technology, and it won't matter a jot. This is a good desktop program also that I think no computer user, sighted or otherwise should be without. Like many others though I don't want to have to be tied to a PC all the time to listen to radio. This is perhaps psychological as much as anything as I use the computer much of the time for work so it is nice to get away from it. If you go to: and click on the link titled: Download Web IE Now, and click it you'll get the installation for this prog. The download contains a number of smaller programmes such as BBC Live Radio: BBC Listen Again: Accessible Podcather and RSS Reader along with a couple of other smaller things. When you are installing you get an opertunity to check the programmes you want and leave the ones you don't want. For example, I use Internet Explorer and Google so I did not install the Web Browser. Need any further assistance, don't hesitate to contact me. Best wishes. I know Soundings did a piece about it, but I can't locate it, and haven't heard since whether anything further has emerged. Many thanks.
