Hello Bram, I am running version 8.0 of Partition Magic. When I set up my new computer several weeks ago, I installed Windows XP and then Partition Magic and used PM to create and re-size partitions. I installed XP on a brand new unformatted hard drive, and allowed XP install to format the boot drive partition to NTFS and the whole size of the drive (120GB). I then used PM to resize that partition down and create new partitions in the free space. Worked like a charm. I don't know if Microsoft provides any utilities to re-size an NTFS partition, I don't believe they do, but PM definitely handles it without a problem.
