This state of mind described by you called maya by Adi sankara of advaitha
philosophy.This term maya got misinterpreted in India by so many so called
sanyasis.As it was pointed out very good philosophical adventure is in wrong
hands because of mixer of religion.There is one quote from vyasa of Mahabharath
which you may see here.All mental states were created by languageThese mental
states are supposed to achieve its desired endAll mental states are the product
