 From my personal card files:
CTC130: Immediate shut down at turn on. (lowering the AC input with 
variac, unit cycles on/off,HV goes up to 20KV and shuts down.
Cure: Flyback# 164581.
CTC130: Picture comes and goes,or erratic turn on: Found choke coil L403 
coupling the +131V source had cold solder.
CTC131A: Dead, may be intermittant: Chopper output Q101 (metal case).
CTC130: Dead, blown 5A fuse. Shorted capacitor C425  orange-drop 
type.(.43uf@200V) HOT collector will read  zero ohms to ground til yoke 
plug unplugged,then short left.Indicated the yoke return cap was 
shorted.Also R101 (3.9 ohm 10W in the PS) may open
