ok; correction noted.

I'm sure I'd just do it myself once I retire (3 years from now); as I don't
see it being anything other than monitoring the bank account; making
deposits; and keeping a spreadsheet for each person's loan. maybe writing a
letter to the cosigner and the person if a payment is missed.

once you give up the idea of collections for non-payment, and for having to
account to some funding source for each dollar, then I believe you've lost
90% of the administration.

fund raising is the other problem; and I am not sure an administrator
should start without some definite commitments from organizations as to
their intent to fund raise or donate regularly.

so, I still am asking the leadership of FCB and NFB to get with the
Lighthouse to talk about it.

If all the organizations would arrange to be at a meeting, or even a
conference call (better!), I'd like 5 minutes to present the idea, and the
reason why I think it's necessary even with the FAAST program.

thanks.

Chip

Correction: The Lighthouse is very interested in participating and helping
support make this idea happen. Someone else just needs to take the lead in
administering it. Then we will be happy to sit down and discuss it, come up
with a plan, and assist in making it happen. We'll dedicate someone to being
on the committee and helping.

Just let us know when you find an administrator and we're there!
