I would also love to have the latest version of cdex. I have used it for at
least 10 years from XP forward and it has always worked like a charm. I'm
still in Windows 7 and am concerned about moving to windows 10 for fear that
peripherals and software won't work. For example, my JAWS is version 11.
My computer has, I think the latest version of K1000 and I'm using a Plustek
Opticbook 3800 scanner and Duxbury 11.5. We have several computers sitting
around here, none of them work very well. Two are running XP and one has a
fan that runs all the time its on. I had an Acer laptop that just quit
after 18 months of use and my brother says the processer went bad. I think
I'll stick to desktops at this point. Sorry if this sounds a bit rambling;
not awake yet.
