Have you gone into Studio Recorder's menus and adjusted the options?
Select wave devices might have some helpfuyl options. Have you adjusted
the input device's volume when recording?
In Windows 7, when you open the mixer in the system tray, are all the
percentages at 100 percent, including the sound card, system sounds, and
the microphone volume?
