What microphone are you using? Is there a boost button in the setup?

software
Hello,
I have a puzzle. I recently acquired a new computer and loaded Studio
Recorder on to it. Strangely when I make a recording using the new computer
the volume of my recording is quite low. I have gone to the Control panel
and verified that my microphone settings are set at 100%. Still the volume
is low. No problem with playback of CD's or DVD's and JAWS, only the volume
of the recording made using Studio Recorder.
Any ideas?
Larry

I use ExpressBurn from NCH Swift Sound, also known as NCH Software.
These days Swift Sound might be a different part of their company.
