The health bar was making an incredibly quick decline...I didn't even have time to get my gate spell 1/3 of the way cast before I died (even though I still got screwed and it said I used three doses of my five dose -1500pp-potion.......grrrrrr to SOE). It has a ten second casting time, so death came almost instantaneously. To be honest, I was so focused on clicking loc that I didn't really get a clear look at the damage as it was occurring...I just knew that the speed in which my health was plummeting, there was no way to avoid a CR. Sorry if that didn't answer your question :-) (Of course our attempt to escape through the lava wasn't purposeful, the bridge was the objective /heh). It would be nice to kill a few pirates in Dulak to help Tae get his amulet and his LoY spells. That is a pretty simple turn in, as you know, and when I got my black amulet many others had dropped that we had to let rot. It seems the drop rate for them is pretty good and it wouldn't maybe take too long (that is assuming the male erudite spirit is spawned). Our LoY spells are really actually pretty nice! Light of Life is a 410 pt heal that we can cast in 1.5 seconds rather than in 3.5 seconds which could have significant benefits when in the back up healer role. It certainly isn't as mana efficient as Greater Healing, but having both memmed at the same time would certainly be of benefit. Etheral Cleansing is a heal over time (short time I must add, only 24 seconds) that heals 10-100 hps every 6 seconds. So, all around, they are fairly decent spells for we hybrids. As far as folks being on, we haven't heard a word from the Chapman's. I think Bear's guests will still be having him playing tourist :-) but I do believe that Bear said Ent should be up and running, as he was getting moved into his house on the 15th. (Although we are all clear that moving into a house doesn't always mean things go smoothly, so we will keep our fingers crossed and hope that he can make it). Thanks again mighty bard dude who didn't melt :-) Swayze ----- Original Message ----- From: Victor Putz <vputz@xxxxxxx> To: <smee@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, July 21, 2003 3:16 PM Subject: [smee] Re: SMEE Sunday Sunday Sunday! > > By the way Flu, thanks again for jumping into that "hot tub" and > > toting us around!!!! > > Besides, it gave me a reason to try my "max resists" game (grin).
